About our Maps
With more than 1,800 miles of trail incorporated in the Florida National Scenic Trail and the Florida Trail System, it requires a great deal of effort with GIS and measuring wheel to keep our maps up-to-date. When there are significant changes, new maps are developed and printed, typically over the summer months.
Each map contains detailed information on campsites, water sources, sites of historic and scenic interest, trailheads, and more. Point to point mileages are shown. Maps are printed two to a page, on water-resistant paper, with topographic features shown.
Detailed mileage charts and specifics about points of interest are provided in the new Florida Trail Data Book.
Maps are sold individually or as a full thru-trail set. Prices do not include sales tax. All maps can be purchased through our online store, the Orange Blaze Mercantile.
