The only periodical for Florida hikers
 From its humble beginnings as a memo to Florida Trail Association members back in 1966, the bimonthly Footprint has become a means of connecting members to our organization's activities while also introducing the general public to Florida's hiking opportunities and to the Florida Trail, Florida's own National Scenic Trail.
Published in January, March, May, July, September, and November, the Footprint is one of your benefits of being a member of the Florida Trail Association. Our goal is to provide you with informative articles that keep you appreciating the natural beauty of Florida, to inform you of Association business, and to provide the best information on Florida hiking and outdoor recreation opportunities.
Each issue includes a members-only user id and password to browse through our archive of back issues online.

Submissions Welcome!
 Share your stories! If you have a flair for telling a good yarn, taking amazing photos, or sharing great hiking tips with others, we welcome you to submit articles and photo essays that pertain to our goal: providing informative articles that express appreciation for and conservation of the natural beauty of Florida, and provide information on Florida hiking and related outdoor recreation activities.
We are interested in features that highlight natural Florida; hiking, backpacking, and camping in Florida; communities along the Florida Trail; interesting personalities and volunteers associated with the Florida Trail and Florida hiking; and informative features related to hiking gear.
We also encourage our partners to share news items pertinent to Florida hikers for our Partner News section, and members to share their personal good news with us for Member News. Photographs will be considered for Good Nature spreads and Trail Moments.
